Buy a cat from us

When you buy a cat from us, you get a healthy, secure, and social cat. We live with our cats and interact, play, and cuddle with them daily.

Our cats live with us and are not confined in pens or cages.

If you are interested in a cat, the easiest way to contact us is via email or Instagram. You are welcome to come and visit the kittens and/or the adult cats before making a decision. We have a high demand for our cats, so if you want to be placed on our waiting list, we will contact you when a litter is expected. However, there is no guarantee that you will get a cat. The timing and the right match between the cat and the family must align. Once you have agreed on a cat, a reservation agreement is signed, and a reservation fee of 3,000 SEK is paid. This is so that both you as the buyer and we as the seller know that a purchase is initiated. If you change your mind, the reservation fee will not be refunded to the buyer.

Allergies
We have sold cats to families with allergies, and it has gone very well. If you're unsure, you are welcome to spend time with the cats to see how it feels. Henrik, my partner, is allergic to all fur animals, but Bengals work for him – and we always have at least four cats in the home.

Pedigree
Always. We do not sell cats without a pedigree. The pedigree is the cat’s proof of authenticity and family tree.

Veterinary Check

When you purchase a kitten from us, they are vaccinated against feline rhinotracheitis, feline panleukopenia, and herpes. The parents are certified free from diseases such as PRA and PK-Def. In January, we will conduct the upcoming HCM scans for our entire breeding group. The cats are dewormed regularly, and parasite tests are conducted to ensure healthy individuals in our cattery.

The kittens are always examined by a veterinarian, with a health certificate issued by Evidensia, no older than 7 days at the time of delivery.

The tests are performed by UC Davis Veterinary Medicine in California, USA, a leading veterinary lab specializing in genetic testing. HCM scans are conducted at Blå Stjärnan Animal Hospital in Gothenburg, and parasite analyses (fecal tests) are sent to the Swedish National Veterinary Institute (SVA).

Companion Cat
Usually, kittens are sold as companion pets, which means the cat should be neutered. Most breeders prefer neutering before delivery. We do not do this, as we believe the cat benefits from waiting until it reaches sexual maturity. We include in the transfer agreement that the cat must be neutered before it turns 1 year old. The new owner will handle the neutering when the time is right. The buyer is not allowed to breed the cat. The cat should not be allowed outside freely until after neutering.

Breeding and Export
We have been fortunate to have had very beautiful kittens, both in appearance and temperament. Therefore, we have sold several cats for breeding. If the cat is sold for breeding, extra tests are done as per agreement. For export, a passport and a TICA pedigree are required, along with country-specific vaccinations, e.g., rabies. If delivery is needed, Pet Nanny can accompany the cat to its new home.

Outdoor Access
Breeders differ on this. Many include an indoor-only clause in their sales agreements. We do not. We believe it depends on the situation—both how the buyer lives and the cat's interest and needs. If you, as the buyer, want your cat to go outside and you live in a quiet residential area without much traffic, predators, or rival cats, it usually works out well. However, you must be aware of the risks of letting your cat outside, such as traffic, predators, other cats, and the risk of theft. Bengals are valuable and attractive.

Insurance
All our cats are fully insured with life insurance. Our cats are family members, and we want them to have long and happy lives. When you buy a cat from us, the cat is fully insured with life insurance, and we recommend that you take over the insurance. If you do not wish to, we still strongly recommend insuring the cat, at least for the first year. Moving is stressful, and the little ones are like small children, more prone to injuries or infections. We use Svedea.

We use Sverak's reservation and transfer agreements.
